Douglas J. Poff, DC (Doctor of Chiropractic)
For more than 20 years, Dr. Poff has dedicated his life and practice to helping others achieve vitality and longevity. "I entered the field of chiropractic after a miraculous personal experience in which an adjustment rid me almost completely of my excruciating back pain."

After completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1983, Dr. Poff opened his first practice with an emphasis on athletic nutrition and peak performance. In 1987, he completed post-graduate training in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation.

Not to be content with the knowledge he had already gained, Dr. Poff pursued an opportunity to practice in Temecula where the needs of his patients inspired him to specialize in the unique needs of pregnancy.

Furthering his education, he received certifications in Weight Management and Personal Training. Dr. Poff says, "The increased volume of published studies that validate alternative medicine, has reinforced my interest and use of proven, safe and effective tools." Nutritional counseling and herbal remedies are now a regular part of his holistic practice. He is also certified to perform "Manipulation Under Anesthesia," a gentle procedure designed to reduce fixation and remove fibrous adhesions while the patient is under light sedation. Additionally, he has surgical staff privileges at TriCities Regional Hospital. Dr. Poff has recently completed a post-graduate certification course in "Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology."

Dr. Poff is an accomplished martial artist, loves to cook, read and live life with purpose. He believes that we all can be motivated to learn healthy habits that improve our vitality and increase the enjoyment of our everyday lives.
