Doctor of Chiropractic,
specializing in Functional
Medicine
“No matter the type of
suffering my patient
endures, whether it be a
history of joint pain,
migraine headaches, faulty
posture, or chronic muscle
pain and fatigue, I must
always take the time to
engage with my patient and
search for the upstream
causes of downstream
symptoms and disease.”
Dr. Bryan Ales is
committed to the success and
long-term health of his
patients. He continually
takes a proactive stance on
continuing his education to
go above and beyond that of
traditional manipulative
therapies. Having knowledge
of a variety of the newest
techniques allows Dr. Ales
to provide his patients the
best care possible.
A
year ago I was at the end of
my rope, frustrated, in a
great deal of pain and
written off by doctors and
physical therapists that I
had seen. Less than a year
of seeing Dr. Ales has
changed all of that. He
continues his education year
after to year to stay ahead
of the curve in treatment
and understanding of
physical dysfunction and
nutritional deficiencies.
Whether you have a
complicated, chronic
condition like me, or a
simple sports injury, he is
the doctor I would recommend
- something I do not do
lightly. " - Geoff
He earned his Bachelor of
Science at California
Polytechnic University,
Pomona and his Doctorate of
Chiropractic at the Southern
California University of
Health Sciences. Since then,
he has earned numerous
certificates in techniques
including: Active Release
Technique for optimal
function in muscle/tendon
and ligament; The Graston
Technique for treating nerve
entrapments (i.e. Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome); and foot
biomechanics and gait
analysis with The Orthotics
Group. Dr. Ales completed
coursework through the
Institute for Functional
Medicine with a focus on
complex chronic disease and
nutrition. He also works
with his patients to correct
postural dysfunction with
the development of the
“Super Six Posture Protocol
Series.”
Dr.
Ales is truly talented and
highly skilled in treating
injuries, pain and limited
mobility. He uses a variety
of approaches to get to the
root of the problem. Most
importantly, Dr. Ales really
cares about helping people
and helping us to be active
again. He took me in as a
patient and successfully
treated me as well as
educated me, when all others
failed.” - Christy
Dr. Ales gives one
hundred and ten percent to
every case. He strives for
honesty with his patients,
and when he sees the need to
refer them to another
specialist he does so.
Lastly, he educates the
patient about their dis-ease,
while providing the tools to
sustain a life of health,
wellness and balance.
When he’s not at the
Center, Dr. Ales finds a
healthy balance spending
time with his wife Jody,
daughter Sierra and dogs
Ruffy and Tigger. In
addition, he spends his
mornings on a surfboard,
practices martial arts, yoga
and guitar. “My personal
goal is to be able to spend
more time living in the
moment. It’s much harder
than it seems.”
