Michael Day, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
“My own personal battle
with Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome and severe neck
pain, led me on the path to
becoming a holistic health
chiropractor and wellness
speaker. It was through this
exploration that I am now
able to give back to others
with chronic disorders.”
Dr. Michael Day earned
his Bachelors of Science in
Exercise Physiology from
West Virginia University. He
went on to receive his
Doctor of Chiropractic (with
honors) from the Los Angeles
College of Chiropractic (LACC),
where he was awarded the
President’s Leadership
Award.

I love the Advance Wellness
Center, especially Dr.
Michael Day. He is a
chiropractor but also a
wellness advocate. He is not
just about cracking you and
letting you go on your way.
He uses many techniques to
keep you healthy and active.
I have been going to
chiropractors for over 15
years, and I must say that
the world of chiropractic is
changing for the better and
Michael Day is leading the
way.” - Cora |
Since his graduation, Dr.
Day has continued his
education and training. He
uses Diversified
Chiropractic to examine the
mobility of the spine and
correct nervous system
imbalance, as well as
Trigenics Myoneural Medicine
(an advanced muscle
treatment technique) to
rapidly reduce pain. He has
also tailored his own
techniques to best treat
patients’ varied needs. His
developments include, “The
Functional Evaluation” which
goes beyond traditional
exams, testing subtle muscle
movement dysfunction to
evaluate old injuries and
chronic conditions. He uses
“Food As Medicine” as a way
of analyzing what you eat,
how you eat, and how it
affects your overall health.
“Yogabilitation” is a method
of rehab that uses Yoga and
Pilates principles to
enhance healing and
recovery.

I am a big fan of Advanced
Wellness Center, and Dr.
Michael Day is an amazing
healer. He has relieved
shoulder pain I have
experienced for years, that
no other chiropractor or
doctor could heal. His
techniques go beyond the
obvious and into cell level
memory - clearing out years
of holding patterns, making
way for healing and health,
now. He has the gift of
healing, is inspirational,
and has great energy. Give
yourself the gift, and see
Michael.” - Cheryl |
“I take great joy in
assisting patients on their
individual journey and feel
it is my role to inspire
patients to reach within
themselves and find the road
to their personal health
goals.” He shares this
vision with his own patients
and beyond, as a wellness
speaker at many local and
corporate events as well as
the current health columnist
at the
Long Beach Post.
Believing that it’s
everyone’s responsibility to
play a role in helping those
less fortunate, Dr. Day
makes the time for community
service – taking him to
Africa, Jamaica, and Mexico.
Aside from the exotic
locations, Dr. Day’s heart
is in service within the
local community. He has
volunteered with such local
organizations as: Life Rolls
On Foundation, Rock Harbor
Church, Justin Rudd
(Community Action Team) and
Surfrider Foundation.

Finishing the Half IM race
was great, but meeting my
goal time was a fantastic
feeling (being in the top 10
in my age group was just
icing on the cake)! I
couldn't have done it
without your treatments [Dr.
Day] enabling me to train to
my fullest potential over
the last 6 months! Thank you
for your great care and
timely arrival to Long
Beach!” – Maria |
Dr. Day is an avid surfer
