Rebecca Rebmann, ND (Traditional Naturopath)
Dr. Rebecca Rebmann joined the Advanced Wellness Center in August 2001 to establish the nutrition department. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Health Studies, as well as a Doctorate in traditional Naturopathy.
Rebecca's primary focus is on healthy weight management and the prevention of stroke, heart disease and cancer. Additionally, she works with clients on health issues such as chronic illness, hormonal imbalances, diabetes, fatigue and immune deficiencies. Through a combination of herbal therapies, proper diet and supplementation, Rebecca is able to help people achieve an overall sense of well-being. She believes that ongoing education and research are key components in the evolving field of nutrition and wellness. Rebecca attends continuing education conferences regularly to learn about new therapies and shares that knowledge by conducting a monthly educational series for her clients and guests.
Rebecca's commitment and dedication to healthy living and nutrition has been her lifelong passion. At the age of 20, she became the first woman to hold a management position for Vons grocery company in the produce department. After 12 years with Vons, she decided to leave her native Southern Californian "city life" and moved to Sedona, Arizona where she managed the premier health food store in the area. Four years later, Rebecca was able to combine her lifelong interest in health and wellness, knowledge of fresh produce and retail skills by opening several natural food stores and a natural gourmet restaurant.
Rebecca attributes her ongoing success and satisfaction with her career to maintaining her focus on educating the public on the importance of diet and healthy lifestyle. "My goal is to empower people with a clear understanding of a healthy diet and lifestyle and how making even small changes toward better habits can dramatically improve the quality of their lives."
