Rehabilitation
At the Advanced Wellness
Center, we have developed
multi-faceted rehabilitation
and active conditioning
programs to address
treatment for occupational
and sports injuries, failed
surgeries and postural
dysfunction.
We help patients reach
optimal potential by
introducing programs that
are tailored to you rather
than your condition. We
pride ourselves in providing
a supportive, individually
paced approach to accompany
you on the road to a
successful outcome. The key
to restoration of function
lies in the understanding of
what motivates you and how
you learn. It is of great
importance for our
specialists to meet you at
your current stage of
recovery, and by actively
listening to your needs, we
take the initial step in
creating a successful
regimen.
Balance and stabilization
lie at the core of our rehab
program. In addition to the
re-conditioning of a
shoulder, elbow, back, neck
or knee, we incorporate the
use of balance work to
strengthen the body’s
ability to recover in the
future.
Along with loss of area
specific function,
individuals lose their
ability to balance and
stabilize for a number of
reasons. Previous injury and
scar tissue surrounding any
joint make the neuromuscular
system lazy; and in turn, we
slowly lose the sense of
where we are in space.
Incorporating balance and
stabilization gives you
enhanced functional movement
in sport, exercise and
activities of daily living.
If you are looking for
increased function due to
injury, enhanced ability in
sport or improvements in
posture and core strength,
consider the Advanced
Wellness Center for a safe,
cutting edge and effective
approach to reaching your
rehabilitation goals.

Finishing the Half IM race
was great, but meeting my
goal time was a fantastic
feeling (being in the top 10
in my age group was just
icing on the cake)! I
couldn't have done it
without your treatments
enabling me to train to my
fullest potential over the
last 6 months! Thank you for
your great care and timely
arrival to Long Beach!” –

Each patient is different in the scope of time they will need. The doctors at

Yes, your doctor will work with your limitations and has tools to help release
scar tissue from incisions to provide a more free range of motion.
Can I come before surgery?
Yes, patients that undergo “prehabilation” are better prepared for surgery
because their muscles and joints trained for optimal surgical results.
Do you offer yoga and Pilates classes?
We do not currently offer yoga or Pilate’s classes; however, both methods are
integrated into each rehabilitation session.
